If you have time for this, it is very worth your while! It takes about an hour to properly do this hair treatment.
How to use:
Apply the hair oil to the scalp, massage it in and work your way down the hair shaft, all the way to the tips. Depending on the porosity and length of your hair, the amount to use will range from a quarter sized amount to a toonie sized amount. You should use enough to cover all of your hair.
Meanwhile, put a small to medium sized towel into the dryer to get it warm. Usually 5 minutes will do it.
Gather up your hair and cover it with a plastic covering of some kind. (I save produce bags and use them for this purpose.) Tie or clip it closed so that no hair escapes from underneath it. Now for the magical part- get that warm towel from the dryer and do a towel head wrap, covering the plastic up. The heated towel from the dryer will allow the oils to penetrate the hair even deeper for maximum benefit.
Now you relax, have a beverage for half an hour to 1 hour (if you have the time).
Wash your hair. You will likely need to do this twice. During the first wash do not get your hair wet, just shampoo it “dry” and then rinse everything out. Then do a second wash. Follow with a light conditioner.
